What Buford Schoen doesn't like about Le Canton:
Simple and good kitchen (home fries for example.) is a very good place for lunch break. It seems to me that this is the meeting of employees in the industrial area, hence a less festive friendly atmosphere than in a classic restaurant. No problem for a visit to this establishment, but it's not where I'm going to have a meal in love for example. but the target (clients) of the boss is undoubtedly this active populatio... After traveling to France at many places we have come to the conclusion that if they want a really good, cheap menu du jour, then forget the tourist restaurants and eat where the local, businessmen and workers eat. Therefore, on a...day from cognac to the ile de re, we stopped in le canton in perigny, and we were not disappointed. the restaurant was heaving, but we managed to take a table for the five of us, and we focused on enjoying a delicious 3-course lunch for less than 16 euro every alcohol-free beverage. eating is freshly prepared, traditional French cuisine, and there were several possibilities for each cure. Of course, all plates were separated from the confit. I would recommend booking by 1 hour or more for lunch or better.
I went to this fabulous restaurant to eat a veal head, a feast!!! the kitchen is made with real good products, chef out of pairs. an authentic place like you like. Go on!!!
A very corecte service with good products ... entecote burger dish of the day and wines with glass always well chosen. a special mention for the intercoast that is for me excellent with excelent homemade fries. Not against aeration of the kitchens to see again because it smells a little. a lot of frying.
We often live in front of the car without ever stopping us. Now it's done! simple and discreet welcome, a warm atmosphere inn of carefully decorated countryside, dishes based on local and farm products in the plates. we have been regaled: hot sausage in Lyon, andouillette and bavette accompanied by homemade fries. Come on, it's very good!
