Was good the waiters where really nice
If you want yummy food in a friendly, comfortable, homey place, then the Windmill Family Restaurant is the perfect fit. The owner couldn't have been nicer and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy; just very welcoming, and good food. A perfect place to stop for locals and travelers.
Come on in and get you some breakfast! This place is nice and cozy and right off of 57. Pricing is great and the staff are amazing. Bring your family and friends because they would love it! Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20

What a local treasure! I am visiting from Texas and am staying in an Air B&B, so having a “home cooked” meal is not likely…until I happened on the Windmill. Tonight’s special is Stuffed bell peppers with mashed potatoes and green beans. I haven’t had that meal since my Grandma was alive…25+ years ago. The peppers and green beans were amazing! Just like I remembered…I’ll be here for a few more weeks and guarantee they will see quite a lot of me. Oh! And a lovely woman works the register and a very nice man answered the phone. I’m full and have that warm, fuzzy, comfort food feeling! Thank you!
