LOVE Squid Ink! This is one of the only non chain restaurants in the area which is refreshing. Additionally, both the sushi and kitchen menu items are on point! I highly recommend trying the chef specials. View all feedback.
What John Doe doesn't like about Squid Ink Sushi:
I 've lived in the area for years and this place time after time always disappoints. I must be retarded for going back. On one occasion, my girlfriend and I went to the bar and the bar tender barked at us, what do you want to drink , didn 't give us but 2 seconds to respond and walked away. The sushi isn 't great so don 't go here expecting that--you 're better off getting a few appetizers and a beer, that 's they on... View all feedback.

The sushi isn 't great so don 't go here expecting that--you 're better off getting a few appetizers and a beer, that 's they only thing they can 't screw up, opening a bottle cap. I even branched out and got some ramen, it sucked and the noodles were mush. Expect the staff to be bitchy and short. Someone else said they were pompous hipsters, nailed it. Speaking of the staff, they 're always changing, high turn over is a bad sign. Do yourself a favor and drive the few extra miles to go to Sakana.
Awful food, awful service. Went today and don't know what was worse :sushi or service. Actually I am not that big on crazy customer service, I ve been to chinese, korean places where they barely talk to you but the food is so good that you don't care. Sushi rolls were atrocious. How can you manage to make California roll fall apart? My husband left some of his sushi. Fish didn't really look fresh. I hope we are not going to get stomach sick from this place. Stay away. I should've check first with Urbanspoon. So far if this site shows the restaurant as good then it is good, if not it is really so. On the scale 1 to 10 this place is 1.
Very good Sushi, nice atmosphere both inside and outside, prompt and attentive service, nice live entertainment! close to home. I love it!
