Panera Bread - Peoria
Panera Bread
Description
Panera Bread provides a mixed dining experience marked by both commendable strengths and notable weaknesses. Patrons often appreciate the high-quality food and efficient service, especially during peak hours. However, inconsistent food availability and occasional cleanliness issues detract from the experience. Prices are considered steep, with some guests feeling underwhelmed by portion sizes. Other complaints include the disruptive order notification system and lack of attention to veteran recognition on Veterans Day. Despite these inconsistencies, many loyal customers remain devoted, drawn back by the friendly staff and tasty offerings, albeit with a hope that improvements will address ongoing concerns.

I used the drive-thru, and I have to say that the parking lot is poorly designed; I almost get hit every time I go through. The food is good, and the staff is always friendly, but it would really help if there were better signage or if they rearranged the drive-thru.
While I was waiting for them to call DoorDash, we got disconnected. I tried calling back, and the staff member informed me that they had reached out to DoorDash and assured me that they would resend my order. The new delivery was estimated to arrive after 4:00 PM. When I asked about my original order, he admitted he hadn’t thought to check on it. At 4:00 PM, I finally received my food, but it was only half of what I ordered – everything was only half-full! Clearly, they really got the last laugh!
I had the chance to try the new Asiago bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese, and I highly recommend it! Additionally, the cinnamon rolls are big, generously topped with icing, and simply delicious.
I enjoyed the Mediterranean grain bowl with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be ordering it again soon.
