The food tastes... read more We just recently tried Catrinas for the first time and I think I might have to say that this might be my favorite place to go for Mexican food! The food tastes close to Tequila's but it definitely tastes more authentic here! I had the Arroz con pollo andit was just absolutely wonderful. I love how you place your order and then you sit down and they bring the food to you and itwas rather quickly I might add. And the fact that it felt like a complete restaurant meal with the fast-food feel was prettycool. The meal does not come with chips and salsa but it they don't cost a lot so you should go ahead and get em! Afterwards Iwas talking about the restaurant to someone else and they were raving about the guacamole so maybe you should try that too! Theydo have limited hours so make sure you pay attention to that window when you're planning on visiting this restaurant! They weredefinitely starting to get busy (as we arrived before the lunch time) lots of groups of people started walking in, mainly peoplewho work downtown. The restaurant did not get food while we were there but if it does they're just happen to be more seating ifyou go down the hallway which I included in my pictures. I was actually off of work the day that I went here so since theirhours are limited I'm hoping able to visit this place again soon because it was really great!

I ordered the Hidalgo and it was delicious! Hands down the best quesadilla I've ever had. The atmosphere there is great and thelady that took our order and brought it out to us was super nice. I will definitely go back!!!

Stumbled upon this hole-i... read more Hidden gem in the middle of Peoria. Was in the area for a couple of days for an event and scoured the area looking for some good food. Stumbled upon this hole-in-the-wall while scrolling through reviews online. Atmosphere is very casual and complete with asmiling face behind the counter. A variety of delectable Mexican dishes and drinks were available at great prices. Everything weordered was delicious and our plates were clean by the time we finished. Will make sure to stop by again if I happen to be inPeoria again.
