Caminero Mexican - Peoria

If you are lucky enough to stumble upon this gem go there. Amazing food that gets better every time. The lady there works some good magic. Stop reading and go there already. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent real Mexican food! Always delicious and priced fairly.

First time at Caminero's Mexican. Ordered the #12 (taco and inchalada) and two alacart inchaladas. Also one order of chips and salsa. Bill came to over 33$. I usually go to Icaramba's down the street but decided to give them a chance. Dont get me wrong, the food was good. Inchaladas were swimming in a carton of sauce but some people like that. I dont mind it but i thought it was excessive and if you dont hold your take out perfectly ballanced it spills out on all the other containers. So bottom line, I thought it was just a bit too much for what we ordered. Basically got a meal and a half and some chips for 33$. May go back and try the burrito and give that a try. We live just done the street. The service was good though and quick!

Had a great experience and food from Caminero, family wanted mexican food so I did a google search of places close by, found Caminero and drove over, ordered Chimi deluxe with green sauce and carne asada, it was really good and flavorful, ordered a steak fajita quesadilla and tried a couple bit and that was awesome, ordered a Cali burrito with carne asada and the wife loved it, rice and bean were good, chips and salsa were good, all in all a great family meal and everyone was full and satisfied, the lady at the counter was really nice and helpful, definitely will be going back again.
