What User doesn't like about The Longboat Inn:
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the burger we ordered was subpar and overpriced. The patty was greasy and lacked seasoning or vegan cheese, only containing lettuce and tomato. Despite adding pickles and ketchup, it was still a disappointment considering the high cost. My husband and I came to this restaurant specifically for their vegan menu. We decided to try the vegan curry, but were disappointed when it finally arrived after a long wait. The dish consisted of plain rice with kidney beans and cannelini beans in a spicy sauce, which didn't meet our expectations given the price of £11.95. While we appreciate the effort to cater to vegans, we feel that more could be done to improve the quality of the dishes.
The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and provide quick service. They are also happy to confirm that everything is vegan, including the complimentary biscuits. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Additionally, there is free Wi-fi available, and the restaurant is dog-friendly. The toilets are clean, and there is a hot desk facility for patrons to use.
The staff were fantastic and the decor was charming. However, we were disappointed with the burger we ordered. It was expensive and mediocre, with a greasy patty and only lettuce and tomato inside - no sauce or vegan cheese. Even with added pickles and ketchup, it was still lacking in flavor. Overall, not worth the high price.
