Skaha Beach Club - Penticton

We live in Mexico for part of every winter and this is as close to real Mexican cuisine we have ever come across in Canada. Tastes and is served just like in Mexico. They are seasonal and will close in September but I sure hope they come back next year. We have already been to this restaurant several times this month. Service is so good that if you just glance over to where the waiters are they will come running.

Nice enough staff but very expensive . 3 very small tacos with 1 inch pieces of fish in each taco. 19 dollars. what a shame as I cant recommend this place .

While it is convenient that it is right next to the campground, it's just not that good. I had the fajitas which were probably the best thing on the menu, they were just ok. The other people with us orders nachos... do not get those! They were so gross!! They were completely wet and soggy. My brother ordered the burritos, which mentioned nothing of hot sauce On the menu yet got sauce was completely drenching them on top. It looked like a soup of hot sauce on top. The alcoholic drinks were also just gross. The service is not that great either. It seems like there is only one guy there who works.

Everything was bland, service was subpar. Ordered iced coffees to start, it took a good 10mins to receive them. Upon getting them, it was the worst attempt at an iced coffee I've ever seen. Then took our orders, my girlfriend took the chicken quesadillas and I took a beef burger which said would have jalapenos, guacamole and cheddar cheese. My girlfriends food was soggy and dripping since it was probably frozen quesadillas. My burger arrived with no guacamole, no jalapenos and it had mozzeralla cheese on it instead of cheddar. Burger was a frozen burger and the fries were store bought frozen fries. Worst Mexican restaurant experience I've ever had in my life. Upon leaving we also saw one of the kitchen staff picking his nose outside and walk straight back in and with the quality I've witnessed at this establishment, I really doubt he washed his hands....Never come here for your own good!!

We were staying near by, so stopped in for some late lunch. Definitely had a true Mexican feel to it. We both loved our meals which were chicken enchiladas and beef fajitas, and the drinks were perfect. Service was more than adequate in fact our server was a really nice guy. We will definitely be back... perhaps tomorrow. I understand this is place is under new management as of a couple months ago, well the food was great in our opinion so give it a shot. The highway beside would be the only downfall... which is why they play the Mexican music a little louder!!
