Patio Burger - Penticton

I was pleasantly surprised by Patio Burger. We were spending the day at the beach (Wibit Water Park) and I really didn't want to give up my parking spot, so we walked over here for something quick to eat. The burgers and fries were really good! And several of the ice cream flavors are made in house.

Had lunch with a friend after walking the beach. It is a fast food restaurant that opened in 2016. We just ordered the bacon cheeseburger, fries and a water. We found a spot in the shade and waited for our order. We were given a pager and when the food was ready it beeped and we went and picked up the order. After just one bite we knew we should have ordered two. They were so fresh and juicy. We did end up getting in line again to order another burger. Fantastic.

This visit was a first one for my sister, a friend and me. Although the lake and surrounding scenery was a million dollar view, our meals were really not as good as they could have been. We did not like our fries although the onion rings were good. My cheeseburger was okay and my sister indicated that her chicken burger was over cooked. Our friend's hot dog was not cooked properly. We had to request that our table be washed as it was very sticky and dirty. When we first entered the establishment, it was self service (ie, ordered our meal at the window, then picked it up when our buzzer sounded). This method appeared to change as we ate our meal because we saw other patrons seated and being served. All in all, very confusing. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this eatery again.

We had visitors from Saskatchewan and, after spending the day touring around Penticton, decided to try the Patio for dinner. Our visitors ordered a couple of poutine that were cold, greasy and limp. After returning them to the window and specifically asking for fries fresh from the fryer, the replacement poutine was again cold. My husband and I ordered two burgers, one with fries, one with salad and one soft drink. The total came to $32.00. The burgers were cold and mushy and the fries were undercooked and tasteless. Our table had been cleaned, but it felt sticky so we moved to another freshly cleaned table that was also sticky. My husband was able to scrape gray gunk off the table top with his fingernail. The concrete and wooden floors really needed a good pressure wash as they were blackened with grease and gum spots.I realize that this is a fast food restaurant, but expected it to be better than a beach concession. I wouldn't recommend eating here due to the poor quality undercooked food and unsanitary conditions.
