Cambo Beach - Penticton

The staff is always friendly, and the food is excellent every time we visit. It's a lovely location right across from the beach, with a nice-sized patio that's perfect for enjoying a meal, especially at sunset.

The service was excellent and the food was amazing. However, our group of nine was surprised to find an 18% service charge added to our bills. When we inquired about it, we were informed that this fee is automatically applied to groups of eight or more. This is something we should have been informed about prior to being served! I prefer to tip based on the service provided, rather than being obligated to pay a fee. It's truly a wonderful restaurant, but it's important to be aware of this policy if you're dining with a larger group.

We dined outdoors, and it was fairly quiet at first. However, later on, cars and bikes with loud exhausts started cruising down the street, which affected the ambiance. The service was efficient, and our food arrived promptly. The staff was friendly. As for parking, it varies depending on the time of day and the season, especially since it's on the beachfront.

We visit every year when we are in Penticton, one of our favourite restaurants. Highly recommend the Sesame Chicken and you MUST try the spring rolls! My only negative is the price of kids meal and the tip added to bill. $14.50 for a kids meal is too much : . And I don’t mind the tip being added we were a group of 7) but then the service should be top notch drinks refilled regularly etc). Just my 2 cents.

Great spot on the beaten track but you feel like you're off the beaten track! Excellent food we're locals and have had lunches at Cambo every summer since they opened the food is reliably top notch. Friendly, efficient service too. One of our go to restaurants on Lakeshore Drive.
