Tijuana Flats - Pensacola

I had a fantastic experience at Tijuana Flats tonight and highly recommend it as a great family restaurant with most items priced under $10. The food was fresh, portion sizes were generous, and there were options for both inside and outside seating. The highlight was the unique hot sauce/salsa bar with a variety of flavors to choose from. The customer service was outstanding, from the person who took our order to the server who brought our food and checked on us. The management should be commended for their friendly and welcoming team who create a great overall environment. We ordered the Tijuana Blackened Chicken Burrito with chips from the kids' menu ($6.49), which was delicious and a generous portion, as well as the Tij Steak Bowl with chips ($7.49), which was also very filling and healthy. And the seasoned chips were a perfect accompaniment. Overall, I give Tijuana Flats five stars.

The food was incredibly delicious at this restaurant. We ordered bark tacos and bark meat flatas, which were very fresh. The service was excellent, and they even have a small terrace that is dog-friendly. I only gave it 4 stars because we were disappointed that they do not offer military discounts on days other than Mondays and Wednesdays. It was disappointing, considering the respect and support our military men and women deserve. Overall, I found it lacking compared to Tijuana Flats in terms of flavor and portion size.

I will never go back to this restaurant. They changed their menu to a vegetarian restaurant. I ordered the chicken burrito and there was hardly any meat in it. This place used to be busy but now the parking lot was empty, and I know why. They should have kept the same menu and just raised their prices instead. I will be telling my friends and family about this.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and Austin is a wonderful server! He is very professional and helpful. My favorite dish is the Double Stack Cheesy Tacos.
