Todd saved lunch with my wife, my mother, and my best friend! I don’t care to call the other waiter out by name, but he was incredibly rude dropping off some wine to my wife. Which I find odd, because he’s served me plenty of times before and I make a point to tip fat at Wine Bar. What KLOSETMONKEY doesn't like about The Wine Bar On Palafox Restaurant:
Love to visit the Wine Bar for a delicious lunch and sit outside and people watch. The inside seating is mainly the bar, which is fine for drinks. They do serve liquor as well. The wine prices are steep and the pours are short. (Those marked glasses). $17 a glass for average wine...I should have chosen better and bought a bottle. 3 Beers and 3 glasses of wine at 3pm, $96 with 15% tip. Just fyi, know before you go. De... The food was fine, but we where eating inside and they serve us a water with a bug and when we notice that, that we were drinking out of a water with a bug, our server just told us “ohh you just saw that why you didn’t tell me? Haha I’m sorry” and the service was so slow that they had us like half an hour waiting for our check, and also before leaving we heard and saw the server just coughing a lot in the kitchen without covering her mouth or anything.
Fun place to sit, drink, and eat with yummy food. Outside and inside seating. All staff was attentive and kind, especially Dori! Went here 2 nights in a row. Highly recommend.
First impression.... good food and service. Extensive wine list. A Cuban sandwich that would give a Miami restaurant a run for their money...
Worst espresso martini I've had, will second worst truthfully. Don't order. Please.
Staff is always super friendly and attentive no matter how busy. Food is always great, and if a mistake is made, they are always more than willing to fix it!
