To be located this close to the water and serve frozen seafood is terrible. The calamari, soft shell crab (not only frozen but was and there was no crab to it), and crab cakes were all frozen. The seafood here is as fresh as you'll find anywhere on the Gulf Coast. The service comes with a smile, and the waitstaff are well-informed about the seafood offerings.
Absolutely amazing! This was, without a doubt, the best gumbo I've ever had. Every dish we tried was delicious. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the live music was enjoyable, even if the performer was an Auburn fan! Lol, Roll Tide! We highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the Perdido Key area.
My girlfriend and I were on vacation and decided to stop by this restaurant since it was nearby our Airbnb and our local friends recommended it. The food was incredible, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The service was exceptional, a solid 10/10. I have a seafood allergy, so I informed my waitress, and she assured me they'd take extra precautions. I ordered the chicken fried steak served over rice with sawmill gravy, and I couldn't stop eating it after the first bite! We'll definitely be returning next year! For anyone with dietary restrictions, this place gets an A+ for handling seafood allergies!
