DIESER PLACE is DA BOMB!!! No, honestly, this place has great food and good service. I had to stop going there because I would eat and eat there. I started looking like squidward on spongebob when he ate all krabby patties a bit (for those who don't know spongebob or not watching it, in simpler terms, I had weight like crazy). So if you go here and get addicted, it's totally normal, just eat in moderation.... if poss... View all feedback.
I grew up in Philadelphia and this is the only place in Pensacola to get authentic cheesesteaks and hoagies. I eat here regularly. Go Eagles! Beat Dallas!!
A New Favorite Burger Hoagie. One of my favorite childhood burgers is from a downtown spot called Slips. Dressing a cold sub bun with oil and vinegar really made the sandwich. They don 't do them the same anymore, but I 've found the burger hoagie at Philly 's to be similar, superior, and most of all extremely crave-able. It takes a while to cook, and the meat isn 't some fancy cheffy blend, but subbing some provolone makes it a favorite. The oil, vinegar, extra-thinly sliced herb covered onions are a great touch.

This is one of my favorite places to go to Pensacola to grab a hoagie or cheese steak because they are delicious. The sandwiches are inconceivable and simple, only very good. There are not many places outside of Philly that you can get a really serious as they do here. We're lucky to have such a place here in Pensacola. Give them a try if you want a very tasty and honest / strict meal. I've never been disappointed, and I bet you won't. This restaurant will not win decoration awards, but it is not this kind of place. It's stuck in a strip of mall, and it's very small, but I usually find a table. The staff is very nice and helpful. Go on now....it'll be all right....give them a try. The food is often better at the places you may not expect. -B
All right. I moved from the area 1 1/2 years ago and I miss this place. Philly with hot peppers, mushrooms and Mayo. Eat and sit back with a great old happy smile on your face
