We had a great dinner at @cypresspensacola!! From the moment we went through the doors until we were gone, we felt like in a friendhouse. They felt so welcome! The restaurant decor is simply beautiful. For beginners we had the Butternut Squash Napoleon and Bolognese Brown Butter Gnocchi which was amazing! Then for our entrées we had the evening special, which was a delicious steak that was made look like a beautiful... View all feedback.
What Max Vignon doesn't like about Cypress Pensacola:
Staff is very friendly and moderately attentive. The menu is inconsistent. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely wonderful with the perfect crispness and marvelous sauces. The scallops were very nice consistency with very mediocre service risotto. The Caesar salad lacked adequate dressing and thus flavor. View all feedback.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Plan on returning.
Great variety in unique tasty foods; excellent mixed drinks and charcuterie board.
The fried risotto balls are wonderful. The New York strip was requested Medium, but unfortunately came out on the very rare side. The menu tilts toward seafood. If you’re in the mood for southern flair on locally derived fish it may be worth the try.
On a random Sunday night we were the only people there during the time of our dinner. It seemed a little strange. Overall the food was good, unfortunately the soup and several sauces were cold. Not sure we would go back even if we lived there. As we were the only people, hard not to get it right.
Beautiful presentation of the grouper dinner. We both had that. Very good service. Small table for 2 when there were plenty of 4 tops. Wasn’t cozy and relaxing. Felt cramped and seated right next to another table of 2 and heard all of there convo. There were lots of empty tables so not sure why we were seated right next to them.
