Applebee's - Pensacola

We ate at Applebee on Sunday afternoon. The first time I was in an Applebee in a very long time. The food was better than I expected, especially the garlic potatoes. Chunks of the real potato and potato skin were there and they were delicious. I thought it was interesting that almost every guest on the menu suggested or included potatoes and broccoli. Not bad, but weird. Both vegetables were very good. I had a six ounce of sirloin that was cooked well, and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere is naturally quite casual, but appealing. We had a great waiter, Sean, who took care of us. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. Prices were reasonable

I rarely ever leave reviews but I feel like I have to after our experience tonight! It's our 9 year anniversary and we experienced such phenomenal service from the hostess to our server, Heather. She was truly wonderful and checked on us many times throughout our meal, even offered dessert (which we were WAY too full for, lol) She was so wonderful. I can't say enough kind things. It's the first time we've been out in a long time, we have a three year old so we never get out just the two of us. I was so appreciative of her. We came to Applebee's on our first date 9 years ago and Heather made me so happy we decided to carry on the tradition after the Bayou location closed. Thank you, Heather and other staff. Sincerely. You all deserve raises with how packed the house was tonight, and how attentive you all were regardless. We will be back.

We were blessed with the best waiter, Doug. The food was superb, service superb and the drinks was awesome.

Food was ten times better than the old one on Bayou. Heather was excellent. I actually haven't been to Applebee's because of a bad experience at the old one. I previously wrote a review on here today about a experience at a different restaurant and had to correct it. We came here and was blown away by the service. Heather took care of all of our needs and offer enough food to have me wobbling like a turkey. We will be back!! The chef cooked our food to perfection

The Chicken Broccoli Alfredo could have been improved with more Alfredo sauce. It was too dry, and both my mom and I ended up leaving half of our meals, even after requesting extra sauce.
