Felix's Restaurant Oyster Bar

Went to Felix's on the Boardwalk this past weekend and it did not disappoint! We checked out their downstairs beach bar that opened a couple weeks ago and it is awesome!!! They had live music, great drinks, and an awesome menu. We got the mini corn dogs, boudin balls, grilled fish tacos, and grilled shrimp tacos. Loved that they came with Zaps chips and they were served in baskets so we could eat on the beach! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I can't wait to go back!

The service, atmosphere and oyster are five stars. Entrees, depend on what you pick, might not be that good. The restaurant's top floor has a nice view to the harbor and inside is very comfortable with lots of TV and cold AC for the summer heat and humidity. The bottom floor is a beach bar. Chargrilled oysters are top notch. Perfectly cook, and fresh. Doesn't have any fishy/bad taste at all. Better than a lot of other oyster houses I had Soft shell crab is ok, one piece ofit has a weird taste. Crab dip taste like crab Rangoon and fried fish can be better. I think they can improve their fried batter to be more crunchy. Food is kind of expensive. I don't know if is it because of inflation or they just price itlike that. $29 for a dozen oyster

Went for Sunday lunch. Enjoyed very reasonably priced mimosas. The garden dinner salad was full of yummy toppings like cukes, tomatoes, radishes, and a great lettuce mix. Shrimp pasta and Cajun pasta dishes were amazing and came with toasty garlic bread. The views of the water are lovely. Tracy provided fantastic service!Definitely will return!

Went to Felix?s on Memorial Day. It was absolutely wonderful! The chef(s) are to be commended on the flavors, textures, presentation of the menu items. We were a party of six and we all ordered something different so we could try lots of items. We weren?t disappointed! And then we had Brad as our server. He was amazing also. He was attentive, kept our glasses filled and explained menu items so well we wanted it all! The decor was New Orleans style and inviting. Before we gohome we will be going back to Felix?s.

First off let me say our server Lindsey was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and just gave excellent service. Now on to the food... oh my goodness!!! So FRESH! Cooked to perfection and servings are more than your money's worth. I highly recommend this restaurant. I cannot say enough about the taste of the catfish, shrimp, and hushpuppies. Go see for yourself!
