Cooks Castle - Penrith

I visited Cook's Castle tonight with my dad and partner, and we were incredibly pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere! The kind server answered all our questions about ingredients and checked with the chef to ensure our vegan needs were met. Every dish was perfect and we couldn't find fault with anything. Cook's Castle is now my favorite restaurant, and their Dal Makhani (minus the butter) is now my favorite dish of all time! I highly recommend visiting this gem without hesitation. I am looking forward to coming back soon!

This was our first visit to Cook's Castle and it quickly became our favorite Indian restaurant. The menu offers a variety of dishes with options for mild, medium, or hot spice levels. The samosas were large and filled with a delicious sweet filling encased in a beautiful pastry. The lamb dishes we ordered were expertly prepared and presented, and all of our choices were delicious. The chef clearly knows what they're doing. We particularly enjoyed the light and fluffy peshwari naan with our meal, and we're excited to try it with masala tea for dessert on our next visit, as suggested by our waitress. We can't wait to try more of this delightful cuisine.

The lovely server was very friendly and answered all our questions about the menu options, and even checked with the chef to let us know which dishes and sides couldn't be made vegan for us. The food was out of this world – every dish was flawless. Cook's Castle has now become my new favorite restaurant, and I have discovered my new favorite dishes of all time (especially the dal makhani, minus the butter)! I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem – you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to come back again soon!

This restaurant in Penrith offers the best vegetarian Indian food. The service is very welcoming, and it is conveniently located near the station with plenty of parking available. I highly recommend trying the amazing flavors of India here.
