Village Wine Cellar Wine Bar Bistro

The friendly owner was very attentive and assisted us in selecting a delicious drink and appetizer. The restaurant is a great choice for a peaceful conversation. The owner even kindly suggested some other places in Skippack for post-dinner drinks.

My husband and I tried this restaurant because we saw it from the road. The menu selection was limited but the drink selection was good. Atmosphere was cozy and the live music was a nice treat.

Service was terrible. We were there as a group of 6 for a special occasion, and the service turned this into an awkward experience. Food was mostly good, especially the dates that we had as an appetizer. That was the highlight. But we don't plan to go back again. If you go, ask to sit in the fireplace room. It looked like it had better ambiance than our table near the kitchen door. (Our server checked on our order by standing in the doorway and yelling into the kitchen.

The first thing we noticed about Village Wine Cellar was the ambiance. The Christmas decorations were adorable the perfect scene for a celebratory dinner. The wine list was really great we actually liked the Cabernet Franc so much we bought a bottle to bring home! The tapas was great too many yummy options that we enjoyed sharing. The entrees were just ok nothing special about the options and they were actually cold when we received them. I would go back and just have wine and the small sharing plates. I probably would not go for an entree again. But we had an enjoyable time, and the service was great as well.

Delicious food and fun drinks- I didn't think it was too expensive at all! It was quiet when we went however, I could see how the space and seating could make dates and special events hard to hear or enjoy. Plus I only noticed 1 server and she was also making drinks. I could see how a more crowded night would be difficult for her
