TJs reopened in Pennington a few weeks ago and we were very excited. We gave it a try last night. Not sure why this group can run successful pub style restaurants all around the Princeton area (Metro North, Metro Grill) but can't get this one right. TJs reopened in Pennington a few weeks ago and we were very excited. We gave it a try last night. Not sure why this group can run successful pub style restaurants all around the Princeton area (Metro North, Metro Grill) but can't get this one right. Pennington does not need another Diamonds style Italian restaurant. The thin crust pizza was terrible and the entre was very average. They need more small plate options, at least for the bar area. Hopefully they will look to their other locations for inspiration.
