Mama J's Pizzeria - Penngrove

Fricking loves this place. Mom! J's makes amazing pizza especially if you like homemade sourdough crust, never give up this place.

Some of the best pizza we have? ve ever had. They offer a delicious cauliflower crust option, and fresh ingredients.

Pizza and bread sticks are both pretty bad, but can be fixed very easily. We ordered the bread sticks with garlic, which is usually a good reputation. However, they were completely covered with raw garlic, which was extremely sharp, bitter and excessive. The pizza was overloaded with blows and was dominated by raw mushroom slices, slightly boiled onions and again piles of raw bitter garlic. While the crust had a very nice tie to it and the sauce had a nice taste, it suffered overall from too many toppings, undercooked ingredients, super intense garlic, and too little sauce. I recommend cutting back the garlic and harmonizing the blows into a uniformly cooked and tasteful cake. The cost was $37 in front of the top, for a medium pizza (8 slices), 5 bread sticks and 2 sodas.

This is a great pizzeria to stop off and get a delicious pizze and some cold, local brews. The salads are large enough for 2 adults and the location is family friendly. The staff is young, energetic and always willing to provide excellent service to their customers. This is a must try when going through Penngrove.
