Aurora Chinese - Penfield

The food and service at this restaurant are consistently excellent every time we visit. The staff members are wonderful. The Mei fun dish is truly amazing!

If it were possible to rate a zero, I would. I don't even know where to begin. I ordered three different meals for my family and myself, hoping that I had finally found a decent Chinese restaurant in the area. However, each dish was worse than the last. They were all flavorless. The fried rice was bland and soggy, the egg foo young had the texture of a sponge, and the sauce served with it tasted like a combination of soy sauce and mud. It was like they had removed all flavor from the dishes! Even the double boiled black tasted like nothing. How is it possible for every dish to lack taste? This was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I am not exaggerating. I will never order from there again.

I stopped by this restaurant while on the road and decided to order sesame chicken with fried rice for dinner. Unfortunately, I ended up getting food poisoning and spent the entire night throwing up. I couldn't keep any food or drink down and had to go to urgent care, where they confirmed it was food poisoning. This was a terrible experience with Chinese food and I ended up missing a day of work to recover, not to mention the bill for urgent care. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially if you are in the Penfield area. It seems like sanitation is not a priority for them, as they ended up making someone else sick.

They love the Thai dishes that make them especially panang. amazing suppe I recommend the hot and saur. my new favorite place for thai.
