We had a party of ten and was seated in the wine cellar which was a special treat! The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! Hamley Restaurant is a must if you are staying in Pendleton....but make reservations well in advance.
I travel a lot for my job, to places in this country I would never go voluntarily (primarily small towns, and as a born and raised city boy, sometimes this is a struggle for me). Every trip I go on, I make it a goal to discover the culture of thesecities, primarily through different restaurants, and for my two trips to Pendleton, I came to the Hamley Steakhouse Saloon fordinner. As a business traveler, I often sit at the bar to converse with the server so I have someone to talk to, and so I don'tspend my entire time at these restaurants scrolling TikTok. My server both times I visited was Kirri, who was incredibly kindand talked to me a lot about the history of this establishment and the importance of it to Pendleton. Additionally, while he wasnot my server, Jacob would be in and out of the bar area frequently, and I generated a great rapport with him as well. Theaesthetics of this restaurant are beautiful, and the friendly staff make it all the better. Thank you Kirri and Jacob for makingmy trip to Pendleton memorable. Y'all are great at what you do, keep making magic in the ways you do.
An awesome interior, well worth the visit just for that. Our meal, a lunch, was good. Good enough. I love that the bank inside serves liquor. (A joke, but look closely at the photo)
Food is okay. I wasn't swept off my feet. The price is very high for what you get. The food is not fresh ingredients but comes from bags and cans. Sad. Atmosphere and service was wonderful. Just wish the salad, potatoes, vegetables were fresh and homemade, not pre packaged foods.
Atmosphere was top notch, and service was also. Food was very good. I splurged on the ribeye, touted in reviews as one of the best steaks you can buy, but I've had better. Mine was tough and chewy. The chicken cordon bleu was amazing. Peanut butter pie for dessert was one of the best I've ever had.

I really enjoyed the decor of the saloon, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time for a birthday celebration. Service was great, thank you, Nicole. The food was really beautiful plated and was mostly tasty. A few meat entrees were a bit salty, but I think that was due to the demi glaze. Great time, though

As someone who isn't from Pendleton, I might appreciate Hamley Steakhouse even more than the locals who have the chance to visit frequently. This place is absolutely fantastic! The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as amazing as it looked. The prices reflect the quality of the service. You can tell that the staff has been carefully selected to represent the restaurant well. The ambiance is stunning and thoughtfully designed. It's definitely a must-visit spot whenever you have the opportunity!
The staff was incredibly friendly, but the food didn't justify the price. It wasn't bad by any means, but for a restaurant of this caliber, I was disappointed to see they used only iceberg lettuce in the salad. It was topped with just one cherry tomato cut in half, some shredded cheese, and croutons. The steak I ordered was tender and flavorful, but at $48, it didn't feel worth it. My husband had the salmon with a maple glaze; it was decent, but a bit too fishy for my taste, although he enjoyed it. The red potatoes that accompanied the dish were tasty, but the green beans were rather ordinary. I think most people visit primarily for the ambiance, which was indeed nice. Overall, we’re glad we tried it, but I doubt we’ll return.
Be ready to open the pocketbook, this place is omitted. If you are here for the Ribeye Steak or Prime Rib are prepared for an expensive meal. However, the Ribeye Steak was really amazing. It was cooked for perfection and perfectly seasoned. I think at $56 for the Ribeye it's a little over price. As I said, the steak was perfect, but the pages that come with him are nothing to write home. I would expect this meal in the neighborhood of $40 at other steak houses. All in all I was satisfied and I give 4 stars for the steak, 1 star for the sides, and 4 stars for the overall experience.
Stepping back into the Old West, this restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere and attentive service from a great waiter. I just wish we had the opportunity to explore the store as well.
Here for our anniversary, best Ribeye Steak ive had in years! And to round it off, they have cream brule! Wonderful experience and great atmosphere. The ride is worth and will definitely come back.
