Hal's Hamburgers - Pendleton
Hal's Hamburgers
Description
Nestled on Pendleton’s east side, this hole-in-the-wall burger spot serves made-to-order burgers, shakes and inventive sandwiches with bold sauces and generous portions. Friendly, adaptable staff handle custom requests and quick fixes, and outdoor misters plus efficient takeout make it a great road‑trip stop. Expect fresh, flavorful food—but also crowds, occasional slow service and the occasional inconsistent side or missing condiment. Overall, a tasty, nostalgic stop worth the wait.

The Monster Burger and Jumbo Cheeseburger were fresh and served hot, as were the large tater tots and medium fries. However, I ordered a fresh banana shake and received a fresh vanilla shake instead. My wife's vanilla shake was correct.
