Dyar's Diner - Feedback

Was Susan Davis at Dyar's Diner a mag?
Husband and I enjoyed Sunday lunch there recently. Fried Chicken is a good fit for a Sunday. I had broccoli rice casserole and green beans to round out my plate. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. Setting is relaxed. We will return. S. Davis, Seneca View all feedback.
What TheNameNoOneHasButMe dislikes about Dyar's Diner:
Not the best for the money. Thin country fried steak soggy from soaking in white gravy. Cornbread dressing was almost flavorless. Mac was OK. Nothing to write home about. Employees were extremely nice. For the money I want good food not just nice Employees. View all feedback.

Fantastic southern home cooking, and indisputable service for the numbers they go through. Always a pleasure
Don't listen to ANNNY negative reviews cause this place hands down meets and exceeds all expectations...and being treated like family while you are there is just the cherry on top
If you want burgers and fries, don’t go to Dyar’s. If you want delicious home cooked meals, you must go to Dyar’s. Almost every Sunday after church you can find us and a group of our church friends having lunch together. Dyar’s is much more than a diner. It’s like going home again and having a big Sunday meal with your family. There is always a good selection of foods from which to choose…I can’t imagine anyone leaving hungry. Quite the contrary, actually…”stuffed” comes to mind. If you have never eaten at Dyar’s, you are missing out on good food and fellowship.
**Dyar's Diner: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Dyar's Diner has garnered a mix of reviews, from raves about its hearty comfort food and welcoming atmosphere to criticisms regarding food quality and customer service. While some guests praise the friendly staff and enjoyable meals like fried chicken and breakfasts, others express disappointment over bland dishes and high prices. A notable issue stems from the owner’s reactions to negative feedback, which some perceive as defensive and unprofessional. Despite the divided opinions, many loyal patrons appreciate the diner for its homey vibe and generous portions, making it a hit for breakfast and Sunday lunches, though not without its flaws.
