I absolutely adore this flea market, it's my favorite. There are a variety of things for everyone. I recently visited to buy some items for my room and I found exactly what I was looking for. Although not all items may meet expectations, I highly recommend checking it out for affordable prices on kawaii or J-Mode items. View all feedback.
What Shany Cruickshank doesn't like about Fiesta Nayarita:
I guess our expectations were too high. we're leaving almost an hour because this should be one of the biggest fleee markets in the country. it's big and it's pretty clean. but it is full of cheap things. nothing else. in the rule on flee markets they get a scatter when handmade objects or antiques. this had a large animal area that had sold everything from spiding, fish, frettchen, mini pigs and probably forty puppi... I am not trying to be discriminatory, but this restaurant seems to cater mainly to Hispanic customers. When my sister and I visited on Saturday, we felt out of place. The vendors were selling items that interested me, but the prices were too high. We didn't explore much because of the heat, but I assume it wouldn't have made much of a difference. I don't plan on returning.
I visited this restaurant for the first time about 3-4 weeks ago. I enjoyed the indoor vendor booths, food dishes, and especially the animal camp, which was clean and well-maintained. However, as I was leaving through one of the exits, I was shocked to see around 100 small cages lined up with chickens inside, without water or food, and very little space to move around. This is clear animal abuse. I contacted the Pendergrass Flea Market website to address this issue, but I never received a response. Reading through other reviews, it seems that visitors have been complaining about this since 2016, with no changes made. Selling living animals in such unhealthy and cruel conditions should not be allowed at a flea market. It is disappointing that the city of Pendergrass and the flea market owners/managers continue to permit these traders to operate. It is likely that Georgia agricultural health laws are being violated. Visitors concerned about this should report complaints to the Georgia agricultural department and local animal welfare authorities. It is shameful that this continues to be allowed by the city of Pendergrass and the flea market management.
