What JimB doesn't like about Romano's Macaroni Grill:
Didn't realize there was a lunch offering menu until after we ordered. Server/Host said that he presents lunch menu only upon request. I understand this practice maximizes revenue/profits, but doesn't seem to be a good practice from my perspective. Food is very expensive for portion size; don't plan on patronizing in the future. Complete trash this place, pre cooked pasta, sauce that taste like nothing, service was so bad, service seemed like she wasn't alive at all, she had no emotions at all, was very weird. Back to the food, 4 of us had pasta, all the pasta was pre cooked, lit was like eating mashed potatoes, really bad. Ac wasn't working, so it was a hot box on-top of bad food and service ..

Only four, yes, 4 people in the restaurant, and we watched and waited for an employee to seat us. As we saw her on her phone. RMG apparently changed their cheese for Fettuccine Alfredo. At first, we had thought it was spoiled cheese.
Our server seemed to be in a bad mood, she had a slight attitude, she wasn't attentive to us. The restaurant was quiet, not much people, I don't know why she just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. We were a party of 6, I tried to recommend my friends to Macaroni Grill, they were very disappointed!
We were just walking through the plaza here looking for lunch, we were about to concede and go back to the hotel hungry when we saw Romano's. It was fantastic, we were one of the few groups there and were therefore seated pretty immediately. The food came out after a fair amount of time but was ultimately delicious. The bread was also very good, especially with the olive oil and freshly cracked black pepper. We both got the Caesar Salads and thoroughly enjoyed them. Overall, the price point for the food was also incredible. We got the two salads, one with chicken, and a bottle of San Pelligrino for only $32. Fantastic experience in all!
