Sugar Nymphs Bistro - Penasco

Another here that had seen the high rating and had been eager to give it a go. We got there before they opened so enjoyed the beautiful day outside until 5 minutes after opening time. We weren’t the only ones waiting. We were all kind of looking at each other then checking the time again. I went to the door. Door was unlocked so went in. The server reacted like she was going to say they were closed but stopped when she realized she was late opening. Took a menu and found a seat and waited. No rush here. We ordered the green chile Alfredo pasta and the grilled cheese with salad. Food was reasonably good. Iced tea could use another couple of tea bags to give in some flavor. The blase attitude toward service was pretty off-putting but the biggest thing for the low rating is the lack of cleanliness! Seriously folks. Table cloth looked like it had never been washed! Nothing in the place looked clean. We decided against dessert and won’t be back. I’m so bummed.

I highly recommend this place if you are passing through Penasco. The food is fresh and the bread home made right there

The green chile burger is amazing! The carrot cake is equally good, but one slice is enough for three! Sooo good

Amazing Pizza, Wonderful Service. Cakes I wish they where more moist. Jesus Loves you. He wants a relationship with you. Give him ? of your life watch what he does.
