I had Ghee Tosai, who was very good, the part is big and the price is cheap. I also had a very good mango Lassi. There is free drinking water. I also had some of her sweets that are really special and sooo sweet. Beautiful place, authentic View all feedback.
What John Fan doesn't like about Thali Nr Sweets Cafe:
Despite all those unavailable menu's food and the sweets tastes fairly good but sometimes all this taste doesn't make justice for the restaurant to be the best. Customer service is very important! There's only like 2 family sitting but we waited 15 minutes unattended. Please take care of customer service and the restaurant will sustain with it's good name. View all feedback.
Eating at this place tastes good, but is served cold. the personal is rude and will not be careful.
I had the express Thali which was a really huge and filling portion. I think it was 5.50 so a total bargain! This included rice, a selection of curries, poppadom and chutney. Service was quick.
The food was cold (like others already wrote) and looked like it was standing around for hours, which might be possible, because the guests can see the food standing around. The only warm thing was the water. And the food didn't taste good. And the staff (like 5 people) were looking at me all the time, like they wanted to mug me. It was only 8,50 Ringgits, but there is better food for that money on Penang. I would give 1 star but HappyCow don't let me
I had the thali which can be made vegan according to the signs on the wall. The food was priced well for the portion size. Unfortunately all the curry dishes were cold, and it was during the dinner time rush
The food is very good and the sweets is so delicious The price is very good too.
