I had set banana leaf vegetarian thali there. The food was cold, didn't taste good. The waiter tried to sell chickens or beef so stubbornly, although I told him twice that I was vegetarian! After that, I had a stomachache. I will not go back there, as there are many others, much cleaner a d tasty Indian Veg food. View all feedback.
I had banana leaf vegetarian thali set there. The food was cold, didn't taste good. The waiter was trying to sell chicken or beef so persistently, though I told him twice I was a vegetarian! I also had upset tummy afterwards. I won't go back there, as there are many other, much cleaner a d tasty Indian veg food in little India.
I only tried a few dishes from the buffet, but wasn't that impressed. The taste was acceptable, but mostly too salty.
Nice Indian vegetarian restaurant. buffet was really complete.
By far the best Indian food in George Town Very relaxed place but can get busy
If you crave for north or especially south indian food, look no further. The list is so tempting we regretted of having only one stomach... Ordered idly, ragi tosai (ragi dosa) and plain tosai (plain dosa). They came with attached sambar rasam. But note that if you want chutney, you have to ask for it separately. Especially ragi dosai was a nice surprise I've been trying to find it when travelling southern India, but I guess I was too south. Now I found it in Penang! And how good it tastes, and how nutritious it is. And completely vegan. Oh, joy! We sat down, but there is also a premade buffet if you want to take away.
