We were too late for the lunchtime menu, but very friendly staff fixed us up with delicious pork fillet slices and fried potatoes. With a carafe of red wine, olives and bread...the total came to €20 for the two of us. Highly recommended to all hungry travellers looking for a welcome. Famished and thirsty, this place hit the spot. Had the bife vitella, or cow steak, it was absolutely perfection. The owner was extremely helpful and pleasant and the restaurant being no smoking was clean and airy but with atmosphere that was perfect for the venue. No complaints whatsoever, would definitely recommend and will go out of my way to revisit in the future. I was very surprised to see this place had not been listed on trip advisor before my review. Don't mistake this restaurant for the restaurant in the park!!! They are not the same.

Owner very cheerful and helpful who went out of his way to ensure everything was great. Whenever I return back to Penamacor, I will definitely be returning to the restaurant. The veal we had was absolutely perfection.
