Myself, my husband's 90 year old Grandmother, mother-in-law, husband and 3 year old son all had a wonderful time. The menu is so varied with something for everyone and the price was very reasonable. The place is decorated beautifully and the music was perfect. A great night out. Would highly recommend.

The roo... read more Two of tried this restaurant as it was highly recommend on Trip Advisor and our hotel receptionist said it was the best in town; they were both correct. The room has a contemporary style (with a spotlessly clean bathroom). The food served is tapas style with each portion enough for two people. The waiter speaks little English but enough to order. We had a drink of port and white wine to start then salad, clams, cheeses and the local sausages washed down with an excellent reserve red from the village.

Both Paulos were so pleasant and helpful. The cook is also very nice and makes excellent tapas and soups. The house wine is a regional wine which we really liked considering the price. We bought 2 cases to bring home with us. It was hard to choose from the large selection of desserts. The mousse with passion fruit was delicious! It would be hard to beat the simple buttered toast with homemade jams for breakfast, and the very good coffee. I wish this restaurant were in my home town. I would be going very often! Thank you for the happy experience. We will not forget it!
