Lots of improvements at the Trewern. Really good food at reasonable price. Served by staff that are keen to please. Service is brilliant. Seating in private cubicles are superb, especially if you have a dog. Piano playing and gentle guitar playing make this pub a place to visit. Plenty of parking and a large restaurant, when it is open. View all feedback.
What West wales1 doesn't like about The Trewern Arms:
I really don’t like leaving a negative review, and I’m sorry for this, but the young guy behind the bar obviously didn’t want to be there, no smile, acknowledgment , welcome , hello , please ,thank you goodbye! Very rude!! I’m all fairness none of the staff were great, all pretending to look busy rather than serve , apart from the lady with blonde dreadlocks who was lovely. I’m not saying the food was bad , neither w... View all feedback.
The restaurant was excellent! Fantastic soup, leek and bacon pie, spicy Welsh rarebit on a Portabello mushroom, and fresh local ice cream for dessert. Breakfast was also perfectly cooked and the water pressure in the showers was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!
What an absolute gem! We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every single minute. The room was very clean great view and an awesome wet room with plenty of towels and toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Shout out to Kim and Teagan who served us for breakfast. We told Kim we were going to Skomer to see the puffins and she gave us some really helpful tips thank you Kim as you were spot on about the bluebells!!! Taura checked us in and both she and the young man who was on in the evenings were so friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious and there was so much we only had a main after the first night! We really enjoyed chatting to the staff and locals and they all made us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely return we met a man at breakfast who has been coming back every year for over 15 years we can see why!
Such a good spot, staff are really helpful and friendly and although i didn't eat the food looked really good. big car park, nice pints and nice vibe to stay the night :
Set in a quiet rural village location, very relaxed atmosphere, well catered for by a tentative staff, this venue makes a perfect base to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline.
Beautiful place.Location was absolutely stunning. Staff friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. The menu for the food was very limited. Ok as we only stayed two nights but if we had been there longer we would probs had to go somewhere else. Saying that, the food we did have was beautifully cooked and tasty.
