Been recommended this place by a friend and if didn't disappoint! Very friendly staff, great service and great breakfast! One staff member was singing which was nice to hear. Will be going back 4 my husband's birthday on the 18th October. View all feedback.
What scousepeasant doesn't like about The Potting Shed:
There didn’t seem to be much in Manorbier in the way of coffee in November when we passed through. But luckily we found this place on Tripadvisor. Not the best coffee on our Pembrokeshire trip, but decent enough service prompt. View all feedback.
We ordered a pot of tea for two, but it was so small it barely served one person. Additionally, the latte that one of our guests ordered arrived with most of it spilled on the saucer, rather than in the cup. What was most disappointing was when a staff member loudly announced that it was someone's birthday (who she claimed was her best friend) and expected everyone to sing. It was clear that they were showing favoritism to one particular table, instead of treating all guests equally. If they had paid more attention to every guest, we might consider returning in the future.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is friendly, efficient, and very helpful. The Sunday lunch is fantastic, with a choice of three meats and delicious gravy. The homemade desserts are also excellent. I also had breakfast there and there were good choices on the menu that were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is located inside a lovely garden center and has a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

As locals, we have frequented The Potting Shed for many years and always enjoyed a warm welcome, especially when accompanied by our well-behaved dog. However, on our last visit, we were abruptly informed that our dog could not be on our laps and had to be on the cold stone floor instead. We found this new rule to be inconvenient and potentially hazardous for our pet. The food was okay, but the change in policy regarding dogs has made us reconsider returning in the future. There are plenty of other dog-friendly places to dine at.
We were in the area and decided to stop in for two flat whites and a custard slice. The service was very friendly and attentive, and we appreciated being able to order a large flat white. We sat outside and everything was very good.
