Fantastic rib eye steaks from their specials menu, four steaks cooked as requested from blue to well done. All perfect. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. View all feedback.
What DearNK doesn't like about The Lobster Pot Inn:
We stopped here looking for a light lunch on a miserable rainy day . The pub was very covid safe thanks to the very conscientious staff .The menu is quite limited as most are and although we were looking for a light lunch my husband chose fish chips which was a huge portion , beautiful fresh fish . I chose ginger and lime fishcakes which were very nice . The pub is dog friendly .It felt quite chilly but I think this... View all feedback.
Called in as we were passing heading out from a day at the beach but got our timings wrong! We arrived just after 8pm but the kitchen was being shut down! Hey Ho no chance of food so we settled for a coffee! Time to head somewhere else for munchies. Not much atmosphere staff didn’t seem to be bothered if we stayed or left!
We arrived before our reservation and enjoyed really excellent craft beer in a lovely sunlit garden . Our table was ready with a friendly reception from the owners father from behind the bar . Our seafood meals from the Italian based specials board were delicious. Portion sizes were generous, service prompt and wine from a simple wine list was good value . A most enjoyable atmosphere and great night out.
Whilst on holiday in Marloes we went into the Lobster pot for a meal with out booking in advance and although full the landlord was extremely helpful and found us a table . We eat from the Italian menu and the food was was better than some we have had in Italy. I strongly recommend this pub but you need to book in advance. We naturally booked in advance the rest of the week.
Always a quietly warm welcome here. No fuss. Came while on holiday here last year and was impressed then. Have been several times this last two weeks while on holiday again. Good range of local ciders and gins. Have eaten twice in there this holiday. Outstanding sea food linguine cooked by their Italian chef last week and have just had scampi and fishcakes cooked by their Welsh chef. Can’t fault the place.
Disappointed to find a closed sign in the window, having checked opening times on the website! We saw excellent reviews and we urged to try it in our self catering cottage information. We were disappointed and had to hunt elsewhere for lunch!
