During our recent holiday at Fishguard Bay Holiday Resort, we visited this restaurant every evening. The owner and staff, as well as the locals, were very welcoming. The drinks were affordably priced and the small plates were delicious. We will definitely be returning next time we visit this area. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ship Aground:
The pub did not follow Covid safety requirements. None of the staff wore face masks. Customers were able to wander around without face coverings. We really enjoyed our recent visits to The Ship Aground while staying in our bungalow in the area. Julian, Alison, and the rest of the team, along with the locals, always gave us a warm welcome, and the beer was top-notch as usual. The atmosphere was lively and we wish this pub was located in Cardiff. Can't wait for our next visit!
During a recent holiday at Fishguard Bay Holiday Resort, we went to this restaurant every night. The owners and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. The drinks were reasonably priced, and the basket meals were delicious and good value for money. We will definitely return the next time we visit this area.
My friends and I enjoyed visiting this restaurant for drinks after a challenging year. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel "normal" again. Julian and his family did a great job with the refurbishment. The drinks were reasonably priced and we were tempted to stay longer. We plan on returning soon to try the simple and appetizing food we saw on nearby tables.
Staying at Dinas Cross for our Pembrokeshire holiday, how fortunate to have this wonderful pub in walking distance. The Shipwreck beer is beyond comparison. A fabulous tipple served by Julian the landlord. Although very much s locals pub, this place is a must for any beer drinkers that love a fine real ale..
The Landlord Julian and his family gave us a warm welcome when we visited twice llast week when staying at Aberfforest. Basic menu because of Covid but delicious and plenty.
