I loved the variety of world food tapas at this restaurant - all very delicious. While slightly on the pricey side at $7.50 per tapas dish, the portions were generous. The chocolate brownies and house red wine were especially fantastic. View all feedback.
What John Nguei doesn't like about Cafe Rio:

Decided to go today to the caffe rio for a quick lunch, nothing too complicated to put together, a cappuccino and a panini with tortillas. the cappuccino immediately appeared, but after half an hour and still no eating I decided that I would have waited. long enough and up to reclaim my money and go to which point the food appeared comfortably. reasons for the delay. we are very busy today. I'm sorry that the apology was not accepted, the place was half empty (I counted the tables). So I chose to turn my seat into a take and I will not be back
Beautiful small place to lunch. friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food. as they choose from a long list of ingredients for a baguette/panini to make it just as they want it
Another amazing Moroccan tapas evening. eating was amazing as always, especially the bark and butternut quash tagine and fruity cousin. never disappointed. can not wait to come back
About the cafe rio pampered while we were looking for somewhere to lunch and so glad we were! beautiful atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, and eating was delicious. generous portions and very cheap. a lot of variety on the menu and beautiful selection of olive cheese...kissen etc. on the counter. many vegetarian options available. I had quiche of the day (quash courgette and pfeffer) it came with a great selection of salats and brot. husband had a vegan burger and chips, which was also delicious. all homemade. finished with coffee and cake. can not recommend enough. we will definitely come back!
To be honest we couldnt fault the meal we ordered. It was hot, tasty, and the flavours took us back to the Greek islands. Generous portions for a meze and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpfull. Will I go back. I certainly will.
