This is a popular spot by the look of the clientele. Some drinking beer, others enjoying a meal with or without a drink. The meals are hearty, with decent garlic bread, fries and lots of gravy. The veggies are billed as fresh, and i suppose they were; but this is not a place where veggies are the focal point - this is a good place for hungry people that like large portions in a friendly atmosphere. I have eaten here several times and was very disappointing tonight with the chicken wings I ordered for take out.
Place was understaffed on a Tuesday and my ribs were BAD. The meat was " past its best-before date".
SERVICE: 1 star I have been going to Finnigans since it was NicklesonsService is usually good with the exception of ThursOctober 3rd.
The food here is quite good. There have been a few occasions when our dishes were undercooked, but if you bring it to their attention, they are more than willing to make it right. While we've encountered a couple of servers with less than pleasant attitudes in the past, most of the staff are really great. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Their menu is extensive, offering something for everyone.
We visited this restaurant for the first time during our trip to Pembroke, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. The place was understaffed, and while our waitress was friendly, she seemed rushed. I ordered the Alfredo with garlic bread and bacon, but they forgot the bacon. The best part of my meal was actually the chicken in the Alfredo. My cousin’s steak was overcooked, despite requesting it medium rare, and my aunt’s burger buns were burnt. My mom even found potatoes mixed in with her rice, and all they did was scoop them out and return the dish. We also had to wait over 20 minutes to get our bills, and even then, there were issues with the payment machine, resulting in three incorrect receipts.
