Best dinner out in a long time. My wife son and I have been to Anthony’s a few times and every meal has been great. Last night my son and I had the steak special. A ounce Ribeye that was done to perfection and...my wife had the Mushroom and Beef Agnolotti. We all left very impressed! Not the least expensive meal but you cannot expect great grilled Ribeye done on the cheap. I would highly recommend if you are looking... View all feedback.
What Gabriel Tejeda doesn't like about Anthony's Italian Grill:
Three of us dined quite well, they even had some good wines (Pouilly Fuissé) and all courses were very good. My crab with fettuccine was quite good.* EXCEPT *** do not touch the Zabaglione desert it is nothing like the real thing (they came up with some custard thing that was avoidable.) That was quite annoying actually. It brought them down one star. But it's not Milan, its a fairly remote Ontario town where to be b... View all feedback.
This beautiful restaurant always leaves the best impression! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. The services unmatched and the staff truly cares about your experience. When we think celebrations, Anthony's is always our first option and it never disappoints. I continue to come back again...and again and highly recommend for you to try!
I oversaw finding a supper reservation for a group of adults while we were in the Pembroke area over the weekend. I had never been to Pembroke before, so I relied completely on the online reviews. I made the reservation weeks before our...Province rolled into Stage so I was told our group would be split up into tables on the patio. I was totally fine with that… it was hard to find a restaurant patio that would take a group reservation. This restaurant had great reviews, so I was confident I had made a good decision. We love good food… that is all we wanted. We arrived at the restaurant on time pm) and noticed right away there was nothing set up on the patio for us. I was told there was a large table inside where we would all sit together. (Anthony’s made this decision as Stage started the day before). Our group really did want to be outside considering it was such a beautiful evening, however we agreed to sit inside. Our drink orders were taken. We waited at least half an hour before our drinks were delivered. Our appetizer order was taken next, along with our supper order. We waited forever for our appetizers. They were not great. One couple ordered the mussels, and were sad to see a few were not good to eat. Caesar salad was so plain. Meanwhile, the server kept coming out and asked if we wanted more drinks. Some did order, but when some asked for another bottle of wine, they were told the restaurant was out ??? It was pm and we still had not received our meal. Some friends were getting boozy. We were all getting upset. I walked to the kitchen and asked the other servers what was taking so long. I was told our meals would be out shortly. Another minutes went by. Finally, the plates started coming out slowly. As my friends started eating I could hear they were upset…. noodles not done, rice was not cooked long enough… I thought my head was going to pop off. I immediately went to the bar and asked to speak with the manager. She came out, introduced herself, and told me she had no idea what was happening and why we had to wait so long for our food. Why did the manager not know what was going on??? She began to tell me they did not have enough chicken, so the cooking staff was defrosting meat… not something I wanted to hear. I asked her to come out to speak to our table, because I didn’t feel it was up to me any longer to let my friends know about the situation. I felt we all deserved an explanation from her, and we should be compensated in some form. She came to our table, and instead of professionally telling us what she could do for us, she began to cry and told us she would not be charging us for anything. We were all uncomfortable. We did not think it was proper for people not to have to pay anything, especially during COVID. It was not our server’s fault. We reluctantly said we would pay our bill (because all that we wanted to do was leave). There would have been a much better way for the manager to handle our situation Saturday night. She gave an extremely poor impression of the restaurant, and for that reason, I would suggest you really consider making a reservation at Anthony’s. We paid too much money for mediocre food and poor service.
........recent take OUT meal of prime rib, au jus, mashed, seasonal veggies was superbly prepared...AND presented complete with mouth watering dessert. oh, and salads equally fresh and as ordered). We will certainly return for another feature.,...especially during these sadly lacking days. Our best...to Steve, Debbie and your staff.

It won’t disappoint.
Been to this restaurant many times since Pembroke has so much to offer (Not), we even had our wedding here in all I can say is each time I go back it gets worst and worst which makes me wonder. Tonight we went for...a nice Valentines meal everything we got served tonight was cold, burnt and lacking flavour maybe it was because I couldn't get the charred taste out of my mouth after the first bite. I sent my dinner back where I am sure they just thew it in the microwave for a minute to make the meat overcooked which was already burnt well on the outside and taste even worst. The set menu for Valentines was pretty lame I must say with their best dishes no where to be seen. Its too bad we cannot get a great meal anywhere in the Valley other than the Rocky Mountain House in Renfrew. Spent on a bottle of wine and some rubbery Veal, last draw will save my hard earned money for when I visit Ottawa.
