I was just little disappointed. I fully understand under construction and what that means. But played a round couple weeks ago and let 's just say I won 't be back until after the it 's all done. Online it says a hole is unplayable, play an old hole instead. Great no problem. I was just little disappointed. I fully understand under construction and what that means. But played a round couple weeks ago and let 's just say I won 't be back until after the it 's all done. Online it says a hole is unplayable, play an old hole instead. Great no problem. We were playing through and all of a sudden we get to a hole and legit just a spray painted circle and a flag in the middle of the fairway 100 yards shorter than actual green. Also stay away from the $5 hot dog off the beer cart. I understand they have a new insane club house to pay for but dang, it 's just highway robbery. I play a lot less expensive golf course that were in better condition and have better experience. It 's unfortunate cause I live 3 miles away.
This course is insultingly bad. Not only are we building apartments throughout the course, the greens are horrid, the tee boxes are the size of your club length, and they charge you full price to play 15 holes. I’ve never played a full 18 here. No warning that the course is short, holes in the middle of the fairway for no reason, and not to mention the greens looking like it encountered WW3. Do not play here.
Major construction going on that, in Pembrooke’s defense, should be awesome when it’s done. Half of the back nine is under construction and there’s 3 holes with greens that are just a spray painted circle in the fairway with a hole cut out. Even with this major construction, They are still charging $85 for 18 a cart. In my opinion, it should be a significantly reduced price given the actual playing conditions. Find a different course this summer.
Pembroke Pines is undergoing some changes that might impact the entire season. They have built a brand new clubhouse that looks gorgeous on the outside, that should be opening at some point this season. The back nine is also going through some changes, which are definitely impacting its playability. There are some closed holes, the old 18th has been temporarily reopened, and there are even a couple of temporary greens. I would recommend saving your money, and playing elsewhere, at least until late in the 2023 season.
What an absolute rip off. $85 to ride 18 with the entire place under construction. got there to a huge construction site. had to ask a couple walking their dog if i was in the right place. had to park on the street (illegally at my own risk according to the starter). whole front nine was ripped up stumps and piles of dirt. front had bad green conditions. back nine had 3 or 4 temp greens which are just in the fairway. one hole was completely closed. couldn't even hear each other at one point because the bulldozer was so loud. This course will be nice when it is finished but not at this price in 2023. $60 for 18 max is what i'd pay for these conditions.unexpected pro quality beef hot dogs at the turn
