came here to dive to scuba, considered the breakfast after this morning (2 april). Heaters were up, coffee was great, there was a vegan pasty, but I chose the vegan (can be vegetarian) wurstbap. Unfortunately, it was a simple soft white wind without butter/spread with three of the most dry sausages that ever had the unfortunate to be served. even three packages of tomato and brown sauce were hardly enough to bring th... we have beaten here in september, there were no vegan cream tees or pasties. they could get a soy latte, and they have buzz, toast, kartoffel and a flapjack. so, not amazing, but some options. View all feedback.
Please bear in mind my review is during the pandemic. At present it is a walk-in and take away place. You can sit outside when dry. This was an extremely busy place as walkers etc from the beach of barafudle bay and coastal walkers were stopping by for a drink and snack. There was only 2 vegan options which were a pasty and a soup. My wife and I each had a pasty and a tea with soy milk and were not disappointed, seriously the pasty was beyond amazing. So much flavour and a lot of it for £4:50 I would have given five stars but the car park fee was was steep as it’s National Trust grounds.
We couldn’t believe our eyes when this tiny cafe had vegan sausage rolls and vegan clotted cream scones on a rainy weekend in October. Good coffee, and the scones were light and delicious too
We visited this restaurant in September and were disappointed to find no vegan cream teas or pasties on the menu. However, they did offer a soy salad and a variety of other options including beans, toast, potatoes, and flapjacks. While not amazing, there were still some choices available for vegans.
The restaurant was promoting a vegan burger and also had vegan pastries available. We opted for a vegan magnum and a drink, with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy.
The vegan options were not clearly indicated on the menu boards, so we had to wait in line for a long time before finding out if anything was vegan. The wait was unnecessary and better organization from the more experienced staff is needed. The two young servers were doing their best, but the service was very slow. We specifically came for the vegan cream teas that were advertised on their website, but the servers seemed confused and unsure.
