This is a charming restaurant with a country atmosphere. The food is all homegrown and home cooked. In addition there is a delightful gift shop with reasonably priced items. View all feedback.
What David Gallet doesn't like about Ridge Berry Farm Tea Room:
The tea room is charming and quaint. Service was slow (barely anyone there). Took a really long time to get water when we sat down. Food sounded wonderful on the menu and for the price, but was underwhelmed when it arrived. Better off spending that money in NOTL for portion and presentation. Don't think I would return anytime soon. View all feedback.
This is a lovely little tea room in the heart of orchard country. The food is grown on their farm or comes from local venues and is always fresh and good. I have brought friends here often and they are always impressed. Well worth the trip to Pelham!
We went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with a group of four.

It was a sunny, warm Sunday afternoon and we decided to ride our bikes there for tea. It was our first time there. What a pleasant surprise! We had cold tea, lavender biscuits with fresh real cream. The lavender is grown in their fields. They try to make savoury treats with ingredients grown on their farm. I recently took my 13 year old daughter for tea at a very popular restaurant in NOTL and my daughter concluded she preferred Ridge Berry Farm Tea
I reallly toyed with writing this review but after thinking about it I think its right I say something as severeal people have also said the same thing. I had High tea. not cheap! On the tea were clearly yesterdays scones(I bake them and I know well) tiny jam, whipping cream not clotted and some really cheap items of a place not caring. There was a chocolate dipped strawberry, a cookie and a pre made mini tart with a tiny dollop of cream in it. The sandwiches were plentiful and ok. My friends had sandwiches and they said they were fine although the coronation chicken was bland and tasted off one said. We were not impressed. Service was terrible as the waitress also looks after the retail so we hardly saw her and when she did come back at least 4 tables called to her right away as they were clearly waiting... nah, won't go again.
