Ginger Asian Bistro - Pekin

If they are looking for high-quality Asian food, this is probably not. my curry huh had thin, gum-like shin that didn't seem to be done somehow. would have been 2-3 stars if that was not the consistency of slightly boiled, stir. they must have some meal times that make them something right. Maybe it was a new cook. idk. would not normally have checked, but I couldn't eat it

I showed up 20 minutes late for a pick up because they always run slow. It's now 40 minutes after pick up time and still nothing........ ask about a time on it she walked in the back and hasn't come back with an answer.... also literally watched a DoorDash driver leave because his order canceled because it was taking so long....

Hands down to eat the best place in Pekin. Not only the best Asian food, the best food time! The food is always delicious and cheap. They eat first with your eyes and their placement is true art. The atmosphere is beautiful and Jin Steve the owners are beautiful! Lunch specialities are $5.25 and include soup or spring rolls, fried rice and a duck. For $1 more you get soup and spring rolls! Can't beat it. Most dinners are around $9 and range up to $14 (Seafood). Try the coconut pistachio chicken it is amazing! This is not one of the many fucking Asian buffets around Pekin. This is a wonderful restaurant sitting! Get Ginger ASAP.
