Its our 2nd time here. The sambal petai is good. A lot of petai and we ordered Kerapu with 2 type of flavor. They can slice the fish into 2. So we choose to have steam and bakar sambal petai. Too crowded when we came. Might be need to come early to choose the fish. Overall is good for family dinner. View all feedback.
What Roger Metz doesn't like about Ana Ikan Bakar Petai 1:
Bad service ever. Staff tak pandai organize utk arrange people for their seated. Customer kene pandai2 sendr cr tempat, tggu customer laen habis mkn dulu. So tired, 2jam tggu nak dpt meja pon. Tggu mknn 1jam lg. So bad. Not recommended at all to come again. Pity to my parents need to wait very long just to taste their 'signature' View all feedback.
Ikan Bakar Petai 1 is a popular dining spot located in Tanjung Lumpur, Kuantan, along Zu Pekan Street. I have visited this restaurant multiple times, and it is a must-visit destination for anyone in the area. The main focus of the menu here is seafood, including various fish, prawns, squid, clams, and other seafood options. Customers simply need to choose their preferred dish and cooking style, then wait for the delicious food to be served. The food here is incredibly appetizing, especially for those with a hearty appetite. During peak hours, there may be a wait for a table, but the restaurant has a large parking lot to accommodate guests. I would highly recommend Ikan Bakar Petai 1 to anyone looking for a family-friendly dining experience.
This restaurant in Kuantan is known for serving some of the most famous grilled fish dishes. Their menu mainly consists of options such as barramundi, groupers, clams, shrimp, and squid.
This is the most affordable seafood restaurant I have ever dined at. The food was delicious and it exceeded my expectations.
The fish (jenahak) was more on the dry side than grilled. squid wasn't the freshest, but passable. come here if you have more than 40 minutes to eat. but guess. the saving gnade was her teh o limau ais (kurang manis). no sweat. somehow the best I had, and I had many, many teh o limaus in all Malaysia. this load sells the saw of the harvest, the king of all the teh o limaus. not sure what kind of limaus it uses, but it reminds me of perfume lemons. absolute fragrant from Limau(s) hurls her nasen holes when they swallow her first swallow. without the drink I would have rated this place as a 2 star, but I pumped it up to 4 only for her **** teh o limau. when you think I'm pulling your hand, come here and try and be amazed.
Definitely best priced! Fresh seafood variety ...try skipping rice and just feast on the dishes. super friendly staffs and cleaner than other stalls... my family of 3 reached earlier for dinnerso we skipped the crowd. Won’t expect much SOP in line of the current situation. But just be safe and sound.
