he was on the train station. who doesn't like to try something bier? I will admit that I don't like much more than a bud light, but they had a more likely one I enjoyed a few glasses. they made me taste a few others before I settled down on the others. we had ridden with our drinks - very tasty. service was good and attentive on a busy Monday afternoon! What Mariane Funk dislikes about Peekskill Ice:
Just because a place labels itself as a brewery doesn't give it a free pass for overpriced and uninspired dining options. This is a really nice place to grab a beer and food while relaxing. They dd a pretty good job and social distance dining and had extra cleaning routines for COVID
Just because a place labels itself as a brewery doesn't give it a free pass for overpriced and uninspired dining options. The salad I ordered instead of fries was just a small bowl of kale with a measly tablespoon of dressing—very disappointing. The chicken and seafood options were extremely limited and only marginally better. Generally, burgers and fries are considered a reliable choice at most restaurants, but for what we had at lunch, the cost for three people, including tip, exceeded $100, which is ridiculous. The Peekskill Brewery feels like an expensive version of McDonald's for beer lovers. Additionally, the service was poorly organized.

Wendell little brewery on the main drag. The 'Murican Lager was devilishly crisp with a light finish. Burger was delicious and the fries were perfectly done.
We went out for lunch and found plenty of street parking available. There are seating options both inside and outside, where we chose to sit. The restaurant has a good selection of beers and food, which revolves around classic bar fare like burgers. I ordered a delicious vegetarian jens burger topped with mushrooms, along with a variety of fries. The garlic truffle fries I had were fantastic! My husband enjoyed his regular burger accompanied by Cajun fries. I tried the Oktoberfest beer, which was excellent, while my husband opted for a seasonal brew that he liked. I would have liked to sample a flight of beers, but they told me that wasn’t an option. The restrooms were very clean as well.
At The Peekskill Brewery, patrons encounter an eclectic mix of experiences that can leave them either delighted or frustrated. While the beer selection garners praise for being decent, the food offerings often miss the mark, with a menu that may feel overpriced and limited. Many diners have commented on a lack of organization in service, leading to slow arrivals and awkward dining conditions. However, some find joy in the tasty appetizers and enjoyable burgers, especially when paired with craft brews. Ultimately, while the atmosphere holds promise for beer enthusiasts, the dining experience could benefit from significant improvements.
