Good food, good drinks, great environment. This place is located next to the Taco Dive and very close to the train station. It’s actually considered Peekskill Waterfront, not to be confused with Peekskill Downtown. A shuttle service is available between both locations. View all feedback.
What Christophe Botsford dislikes about Buns-n-bourbon:
I had the chicken sandwich which was pretty good. It's a cool vibe and I want to try again and hopefully up my rating. Unfortunately food took a really really long time to come out, one of our orders taking double the time of the rest which made us think they forgot that order. Server did admit to forgetting an order of fries completely. Hopefully things get better because I want to come back! View all feedback.

Great food and an amazing selection of Bourbon. The waitress was very friendly and recommended two great decisions. Portions are a drop small, so I would recommend doing the double part for a burger or just more of the delicious food. Look forward to going back soon!
Louis and Joni did it again! Not only a totally cool adult mood, but the Bourbon cocktail menu was perfect! Loved my bungalow with burger and Lanza Farm goat cheese. And the Veggie plate with fried pickles!!! Yeah, fun night. Thanks for your Peekskill love!
The atmosphere was fantastic, the burger was delicious, and the hard root beer was outstanding! You wouldn’t even realize it had alcohol in it!
Absolutely wonderful! The service was fantastic! The portions were just right and packed with flavor.
The owner is smart, they had reservations for 8:45 we got there at 7:55, one other place had the same thing refused to seat us keeping the tables empty for about an hr. This guy tells us the same thing than thinks wait, if you guy will do simple dishes I'll seat you. we were there for burgers hot dog anyway so he sat us down. The service was great (for everyone in the place not just us) The food was great. We will be going back that's for sure.

This is a fantastic spot for a quick bite to eat! They have large tasting castles overlooking the riverfront, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall experience. I found their unique menu very intriguing and appetizing. They also offer a great selection of beers and drinks. The seating is beautiful and comfortable. Don’t miss the fantastic calamari appetizer! I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re in the area.
They had an extensive selection of American whisky, particularly bourbon, and we were able to create our own tasting flight. Our favorite was Stranahan's Diamond from Colorado. Our server even surprised us with a sample of some dessert bourbons, which tasted just like apple cake—definitely excellent service! The food was incredible as well. We only ordered appetizers, but they included wings, loaded quesadillas, and sweet smoky fries. To top it off, there was a great game on the TV and "Pulp Fiction" playing on the projector, making it a truly enjoyable night. To sum it up, I'll definitely be returning with my boyfriend, and I can't recommend this place enough!

Came here with friends off season, on a Saturday night. Wanted a few drinks and good food. The bourbon and the complete drink selection is fabulous. The ambiance was good, a little chilly inside. The place was not packed. The appetizers were delicious, sweet and salty fries and the hillbilly vegetable. The portions were good. The burgers, were ok. Not amazing. I was hungry, and looking forward to the evening and hadn’t had much to eat all day. I ordered double the meat, as did a friend of mine. I expected a bigger burger, but just got one burger on top of another. The burger was juicy, and tasted good, but felt plain. It doesn’t help that sides are optional, and nothing comes with the burger. I was not the only one, as once we left one of my friends asked if we wanted to get McDonald’s or something, voicing his opinion that he was also still hungry. Additionally the wait staff (he may have been being trained, so I didn’t take off a star for it) was slow and didn’t bring water over for me as I needed it, even if I asked. Food was good not great. Wait staff was ok. Ambiance was nice, but chilly inside on a cold night.
