We are regulars at Thai Chill and find the food is consistent and the service excellent. On a busy night there can be a wait however the food is definetly worth the wait. No MSG and all fresh ingredients and definetly tasty Authentic Thai food cooked by Anne. I would like to point out that there is no corkage charge , something previous customers have not made a note of when complaining .Thank you for the excellent,... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Chill:
We ordered take away from Thai Chill on a Thursday night and, fair enough, were warned it would take an hour. It actually took 90 minutes for the kitchen to produce 2 kids chicken fried rice (minus the advertised peas and egg), a tofu with veg & coconut rice and a Hokkien duck noodles. If the food had been worth the wait, that would have been ok, but it was really terrible. Was the chef absent that night? The kids ri... View all feedback.
We had 13 people for dinner. We arrived and were greeted by a big table outside. The night was perfect. We ordered. the place was busy, all tables occupied. Our meals came out together for the ordered names. I think they did a great job for so many peopkeon the one table. I ordered Seafood combo Jungle Curry (Thai hot), Pork Belly with Chilli Jam(medium heat) and Coconut steamed rice. The pork was a bigger meal and very tasty. The Jubgle curry was very good as well, tasty and spicy but a little light on the squid (which was very tender). The coconut rice was also very good. All other parties enjoyed their dishes. Will we be back - Of Course we will.
We chose to dine in but quickly realized that the locals and most of the campers were choosing to Takeaway. No atmosphere apart from an interesting Thai carving in the rear wall. My wife's meal was good but the chicken in my dish was overcooked and dry. the sauce was too runny and the vegetables a very firm 'al dente'.

There is no table service at this cafe style Thai. When you have decided what you want to eat you have to go to the counter to order and pay. BYO wines, but you will have to ask for wine glasses. We had gone in earlier to check they can accommodate for allergies and where assured it is not a problem as everything is made fresh. We found the service was very slow on this particular night even though we arrived early. We had a pork stir fry and the pork was over cooked and dry. We had chose a green curry but were informed when the meals were arriving at the table that I could not have this due to an allergy so we quickly changed to a Jungle chicken curry which was very bland. The owner came and apologised and explained why service was slow and offered us a dessert after learning our meal was so bland. Our experience was very disappointing as generally this restaurant has a good name.
We went for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food at this Thai restaurant. I had the red curry duck and my wife had prawns in a chilli and basil sauce. We had an entree of curry puffs and had steamed rice with our mains and it cost $65. Both meals were very tasty. Service was excellent and the seating was very comfortable. The owners have decorated the inside of the restaurant with a number of pieces of art and sculpture from Thailand. You can also sit outside if you wish. It is a BYO restaurant and we would highly recommend it if you are in Mission Beach.
