Our Italian was very rusty but we were met w... read more We stopped in here at the Texas Pub last October on a cold wet gloomy day and could not have had a nice experience. Our Italian was very rusty but we were met with smiles and a warmer welcome than I would have imagined possible. We had the opportunity to go back a few weeks ago and although it was going to be a four hour drive there and back, we knew, and were right, that the experience would be just as special as the last visit. This time the weather was much better but the reception still outshone that outside and again the food and welcome were all we could have wanted. Can't recommend the place highly enough. Its simple food but of excellent quality and rivals that of much more expensive hostelries we've sample around the world. Thank you for making us welcome on our first visit and again for being just as charming on our second.

We tried a... read more We visited the Tegas Pub on a rainy Sunday afternoon and were welcomed warmly despite being a large group (11 people) who didn 't speak much Italian. We tried a variety of dishes and found everything to be delicious. I recommend trying the Silano platter antipasto as it provides a taste of several local sausages and cheeses. The prices for food and drinks was also very reasonable.
