We had goulash soup which was perfect, as well as pasta goulash and turkey stuffed with plums and hazelnuts. We definitely recommend these dishes! The wine was also very tasty, so we recommend you try their Traminac. We will certainly always come back here when we are in Pécs! Location is good, easy to locate. Spacious family restaurant with high chair for kids. The food was delicious absolutely authentic Hungarian food. We ordered Salmon Steak, Beef Stake, Risotto and Pasta. The portions were so big that one person couldn’t finish one full plate. The waitress was humble and extremely polite. I will come back here again when I am in Pècs.

If you are looking for a good place to try traditional Hungarian dishes in the city of pécs, the fiáker restaurant is a good choice. although it is a little far... read more If you are looking for a good place to try traditional Hungarian dishes in the city of pécs, the fiáker restaurant is a good choice. although it is a little far from the main square of the city, you can reach directly following the avenue király peatonal this restaurant is especially famous for soup goulash, which besides being considered the national dish of the Hungarian, is an excellent option to eat during one of the days of the continent. other options include stuffed peppers, ham and cheese cramps, and a pork stew and vegetables known in Hungarian as pörkölt the only glue the place has is service: waiters do not speak virtually any English, and do not make too much effort to communicate with customers. If you have a good online translator, or are accompanied by a Hungarian, you will have no problem.
