I would suggest trying another place nearby, as Kappa is overpriced for the quality they offer.

The waitress seemed unapproachable and unfriendly, and she didn't check on our table at all. This meant I couldn't ask to change my meal or get a drink refill. To make things worse, I overheard her talking about me to her coworkers because I didn't find my food enjoyable. The orange chicken was terrible—gooey and completely bland, with no crunch at all. The shrimp tempura roll was exceedingly chewy, almost like chewing gum. The wonton soup was also disappointing; the wontons were doughy and undercooked. The only dish that I found redeeming was the Pearland roll. Overall, I wouldn't recommend dining here again.

Amy is one of the best sushi chefs I’ve ever encountered; her dishes are exceptional. I will always choose this restaurant, as both the spider roll and the Phoenix roll are absolutely fantastic!
